Why Join Us Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits Supportive, team-oriented culture Flexible scheduling options Opportunity to grow your skills in emergency and critical care medicine Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate, attentive care to all patients Perform intake assessments, emergency triage, and ongoing monitoring of hospitalized pets Conduct diagnostics including blood work, radiography, cystocentesis, and blood pressure measurement Place IV catheters and collect blood samples Assist with, prepare for, and monitor surgical procedures Safely restrain patients for veterinarians and team members Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and medical staff Maintain accurate and timely patient records Ensure a clean, organized, and sanitary hospital environment (treatment areas, exam rooms, surgery, lab, radiology, and kennels) Feed and provide daily care for hospitalized patients Assist with patient discharge, including retrieving pets and belongings Support the team with additional duties as needed Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience as a Veterinary Technician (emergency experience preferred) Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced emergency setting Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently Excellent communication and client service skills High school diploma or equivalent Authorized to work in the United States Physical Requirements Ability to lift, restrain, and handle animals of varying sizes Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment If you're passionate about emergency veterinary medicine and want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of pets and their families, we'd love to connect with you.
