Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Technician, where your passion for animal care and technical expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. In this energetic role, you will assist veterinarians with medical procedures, provide exceptional pet care, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all animals. Your dedication to animal health and well-being will be at the heart of everything you do, contributing to a compassionate and efficient veterinary practice. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures by preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment using aseptic techniques. Perform animal restraint and handling to ensure safety for both animals and staff during examinations and treatments. Take radiographs (X-ray) and assist with other imaging procedures such as ultrasound to support diagnostic efforts. Maintain detailed medical records, update patient files, and document treatments accurately in compliance with clinic protocols. Skills Proven kennel experience combined with animal handling skills that demonstrate confidence in managing diverse animals. Strong understanding of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and physiology to support clinical procedures effectively. Laboratory experience including sample collection and processing, Proficiency in X-ray imaging techniques along with familiarity with aseptic techniques necessary for surgical support or invasive procedures. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
