About us Feathers, Scales and Tails is a privately owned veterinary clinic that practices high quality medicine with compassion and care to each animal and owner. We are looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team. This position helps ensure the smooth functioning of our animal hospital by performing routine testing and procedures, scheduling appointments, communicating with clients and providing emergency care as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for pet care and have the ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians with the examination of animals and their treatment and care. Prepare animals for, assist in, and observe surgery, radiography, ultrasonography, ultrasound guided needle, blood sampling or other diagnostic testing. Communicate with clients and other veterinarians about medical procedures and care plans. Monitor patients post treatment to ensure proper healing and recovery. Treat injured animals, examine vet records for accuracy, and work as part of a team to ensure consistency in vet care plans. Ensure proper cleaning and sterilization of equipment used in patient treatment rooms.
