Job Description
Center Line Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a driven and detail- orientated Licensed Veterinary Technician. This is a full time position, some weekend availability is required (usually 1-2 a month). Hours per week range 32-39 hours. We have been providing veterinary care to the community since 1955. This is a privately owned practice. If you have a strong passion for taking care of animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging environment then this is PERFECT for you! Our entire health care team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner. The primary responsibily of the veterinary technician is to work closely with our veterinarians to provide the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize, multitask, and complete tasks accurately and efficiently. Our ideal candidate must be family-orientated, friendly, hardworking and outgoing.
Skills and Basic Qualifications:
1 - 5+ years veterinary technician experience (certification required) Blood draws and IV catheter placement Anesthetic monitoring Dental scaling, polishing and radiography Digital radiology techniques Medical documentation Animal Restraint Laboratory procedures Familiarity with commonly used medications High energy, friendly, and drive to be successful Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrates excellent time and task management Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients Hands on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality Team player who can work effectively in a fast growing, dynamic environmentCompensation & Benefits:
