About Us We are a veterinary urgent care & emergency facility dedicated to providing exceptional medical care for pets in need and team-focused. Position Overview We're seeking a skilled, compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team. In this role, you'll work alongside our veterinarians to provide high-quality urgent/emergency care to our patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Schedule Monday
- Saturday 10:00 AM
- 8:00 PM; Sunday 12:00 PM
- 9:00 PM Full-time position (4 days per week, rotating schedule) 4 weekend shifts per month Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures Obtain patient histories and perform initial assessments/triage Administer medications and treatments as directed Perform laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic imaging Monitor patients under anesthesia and during recovery Place IV catheters and collect blood/urine samples Maintain patient records and communicate with pet owners; Discharging patients Provide exceptional client education and support Assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance Requirements Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in Michigan Team-oriented!
