About Us We are a veterinary urgent care & emergency facility dedicated to providing exceptional medical care for pets in need and team-focused. Position Overview We're seeking a skilled, compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team. In this role, you'll work alongside our veterinarians to provide high-quality urgent/emergency care to our patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Schedule Monday
  • Saturday 10:00 AM
  • 8:00 PM; Sunday 12:00 PM
  • 9:00 PM Full-time position (4 days per week, rotating schedule) 4 weekend shifts per month Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures Obtain patient histories and perform initial assessments/triage Administer medications and treatments as directed Perform laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic imaging Monitor patients under anesthesia and during recovery Place IV catheters and collect blood/urine samples Maintain patient records and communicate with pet owners; Discharging patients Provide exceptional client education and support Assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance Requirements Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in Michigan Team-oriented!
Proficiency in venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory procedures Excellent knowledge of veterinary medical terminology Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure Compassion for animals and their owners during stressful situations Physical ability to lift and restrain animals (up to 50 lbs) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including BCBS health insurance and 401(k) with 4% match Paid time off and continuing education allowance Collaborative team environment
