Job Description

Compensation:
$19.50-$27.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Employment Type:
Full-time (Part-time candidates are welcome to apply)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

On-site About the Position Our veterinary practice is seeking a dependable and compassionate Veterinary Technician to become part of our dedicated team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied caseload and wants to expand their clinical knowledge while working alongside experienced veterinary professionals. Our hospital provides care for small animals, large animals, and exotic species , offering an excellent opportunity to develop a broad range of technical skills. We value continued learning and provide training and mentorship to help technicians build confidence and advance in their careers. What You'll Do In this role, you will support veterinarians and the healthcare team by: Gathering patient histories and documenting vital signs Assisting during examinations, surgical procedures, and dental treatments Collecting diagnostic samples and performing in-house laboratory testing Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian Maintaining thorough and accurate patient medical records Preparing patients, instruments, and treatment areas for medical procedures Delivering compassionate patient care while promoting a positive client experience Qualifications Candidates should possess: Graduation from an accredited Veterinary Technician program or equivalent hands-on veterinary experience Strong organizational abilities and close attention to detail The ability to prioritize tasks and perform well in a fast-paced clinical environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Confidence handling a variety of animal species with professionalism and compassion A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and continued learning Equipment & Technology Our team utilizes modern veterinary equipment and software, including: Avimark practice management software IDEXX in-house diagnostic analyzers, including ProCyte, Catalyst, and Sedivue Vimago CT imaging system Benefits We offer a competitive benefits package that includes: Medical insurance Dental and vision coverage Health Savings Account (HSA) options Simple IRA retirement plan Life insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Employee discounts on veterinary services Continuing education support and allowance Apply Today If you're looking for a position where you can strengthen your technical skills, work with a diverse range of species, and be part of a supportive veterinary team, we'd love to hear from you.
