We are part of a privately-owned 24-hour AAHA-accredited animal hospital, which provides primary care during the days and urgent/emergency care 24/7. Patients are dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets and some exotics. Every day is different!

Level:

Experienced, Certification is preferred but not required DUTIES Our Technicians Perform inpatient and outpatient care medical histories and record keeping diagnostics (extensive in house lab suite, digital radiology, ultrasound) surgical assisting and anesthesia triage (on the phone and in person) client communication and education and more - You will use your skills!!

REQUIREMENTS

You must: Have at least 1 year of veterinary work experience Be able to work independently and in a team- Be able and willing to work some evening and weekend shifts Be able to lift 35 lbs., to be on your feet for hours at a time, and spend a good amount of time in front of a computer screen Have good lab / diagnostic skills Have good communication skills and be able to think on your feet in unusual situations As a plus, it would be great if you: Have Cornerstone experience, or other EMR Have exotics care / handling experience Credentialed technicians preferred

WORK DETAILS

Hours will consist of some weekday shifts (starting at 7 or 8am), evenings (until 8pm) and some weekend shifts (until 2pm). Some holidays will be required (most hours qualify for holiday pay). Shift differential available of $3-$6 for weekends.
