Bedrock Veterinary Specialists Cornelius is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to support our specialty teams in delivering advanced medical care for dogs and cats. In this role, you will assist with specialty examinations, anesthesia monitoring, advanced imaging, sample collection, and treatments. You'll provide compassionate patient care, maintain accurate medical records, and support strong communication with veterinarians and pet owners. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with specialty examinations and procedures Monitor and manage anesthesia for advanced diagnostic and surgical cases Perform sample collection, laboratory tests, and imaging support Administer medications, treatments, and nursing care to hospitalized patients Maintain accurate electronic medical records and treatment plans Communicate clearly with veterinarians, team members, and pet owners Ensure proper patient handling, restraint, and safety protocols Maintain equipment, treatment areas, and inventory in clinical spaces Support triage and patient intake for referral and follow-up visits Participate in ongoing training and contribute to a collaborative team culture Required Skills Veterinary anesthesia monitoring and induction Advanced veterinary nursing and patient care Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Diagnostic imaging assistance (radiography, ultrasound, CT/MRI support) Laboratory sample collection and in-house testing Aseptic technique and surgical assistance Veterinary pharmacology and medication administration Electronic medical records and veterinary software Client communication and education Fear-free or low-stress animal handling and restraint
