• Full-time At St Francis VMC, a 3 1/2 years young, state of the art, privately owned veterinary medical and surgical facility, our technicians are the heart of our family and lifeblood of our practice.

We offer the highest quality of medicine and surgery in a modern, bright, well equipped environment. In house equipment includes an Idexx DR50 digital x-ray machine (lowest radioactivity of any machine on the market), the Sopix dental radiography system and a dedicated oral surgery suite, Idexx CBC and chemistry as well as urine sediment analyzers, new GE Versana ultrasound and two Canis Major lift tables. Our technicians are expected to be proficient in basic computer skills, history taking, client communication, animal restraint, pet parent communication, injection and IV catheter placement techniques as well as phlebotomy, cytology, radiology (taking properly positioned and techniqued x-rays) and time management. Strong interest in dentistry / oral surgery and ultrasound will be weighted heavily in applicant's favor. Compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.
