Position is a part time or full time position and the typical work week is Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays. Evening and weekend hours negotiable based upon the needs of the staff member and the needs of the practice, but some may be required. Job Summary Thera-Vet Acres is a hiring for an additional NYS Licensed Veterinary Technician! Compensation commensurate with Therapy experience and credentials. New technicians or students in a tech program, with an interest in therapy and rehabilitation are welcome to apply. We train internally. Join our busy rehabilitation practice, now with two locations: Webster, and Honeoye Falls! As greater Rochester's only canine, feline, and equine rehabilitation care center, we help our patients reach their maximum performance and quality of life. See dogs get carried in and then walk out later to lead a normal life.

Work in collaboration with the Practice Manager, department managers, other technicians, veterinarians to ensure that TVA supports the delivery of high quality care to TVA patients. Manages TVA assistants and the delivery of therapy services to clients/patients Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form. Qualifications College degree (Associates, Bachelors) in veterinary technology from an institution approved by the New York State Education Department as licensure qualifying or the equivalent as determined by the New York State Education Department. Maintain a current New York State professional license as a Veterinary Technician. Valid NYS Driver's License Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Able to learn other platforms and cloud based applications as needed Ability to work with little to no supervision Ability to follow, understand and apply operational and technical instruction. Must be dependable and punctual. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
