Riverside Drive Animal Care Center Dublin, OH Full-time:
4-10-hour shifts-1-2 Saturdays/month Who we are At Riverside Drive Animal Care Center, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, you'll feel the warmth and openness of a small clinic, while having the opportunity and support of a united network. We are a busy 7-doctor practice in Dublin, Ohio. We are proud to be AAHA and feline friendly certified. Our practice has served as a full-service veterinary medical facility for cats and dogs for more than 25 years. In addition to our core offerings, we provide advanced services such as laparoscopic procedures, acupuncture, stem cell therapy, endoscopy, and specialized geriatric care to support the long-term health and comfort of our patients.   • connect for success Riverside Drive Animal Care Center is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join the team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow. Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians. Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments. Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems. Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts. Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
Experience & Skill Requirements:
Veterinary technician (RVT) licensure required 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred Great communication and customer service skills Team player Flexible schedule Benefits
