YOUR LIFE AS A VET TECH
  • VETERINARY
TECHNICIAN SPECIALIST
Monday through Thursday, from 7 am to 5 pm, you can be found assisting our veterinarian at our dental clinic. As a VTS, you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of both clients and their furry companions while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. You handle various tasks such as taking X-rays, providing thorough dental cleanings, and accurately charting patients. Additionally, you play a key role in surgical procedures by sterilizing instruments, preparing patients for surgery, and administering and monitoring anesthesia. After surgery, you aid in the discharge process, walking our clients through post-care procedures and medication regimens for their pets. No matter the task, your kind, calming demeanor reassures clients and puts cats and dogs at ease. Always motivated to provide the best care, you take advantage of our continuing education stipend to expand your knowledge and skill set. Although your work can be challenging, it's equally rewarding. And, thanks to your 4-day workweek, you're better able to avoid burnout and continue to love what you do.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Oregon certified vet tech license OR eligible through OVMEB to become licensed Ability to assist during advanced oral surgery and dental procedures If you can meet these requirements and perform this job as described above, we would be happy to have you as part of our animal care team!
