May Consist of:
As an integral member of our medical team, you'll have the opportunity to: Deliver compassionate nursing care to canine and feline patients Obtain patient histories and perform physical assessments Safely handle and restrain patients with a Fear Free approach whenever possible Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics Place intravenous catheters and perform venipuncture Administer medications and treatments as directed Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia Assist veterinarians during surgical and dental procedures Capture high-quality diagnostic radiographs Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and home care Collaborate with teammates to provide outstanding patient care and an exceptional client experience Here is What You Will Bring to the
Position:
Current Pennsylvania Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) or eligibility for licensure Previous veterinary experience preferred Strong technical nursing and patient care skills Excellent communication and client education skills Compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Positive, collaborative team player Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when necessary Here is
