Manage animal husbandry tasks including feeding, grooming, pet care, and maintaining cleanliness using aseptic techniques. Handle animal restraint and catheterization for various procedures, ensuring safety for both animals and staff. Administer medications, IV insertion, and manage critical & intensive care cases with precision and compassion. Operate medical equipment such as X-ray machines, anesthesia monitors, and laboratory analyzers to support diagnostic efforts. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans, post-operative care, and general pet health advice to foster trust and transparency. Requirements Proven veterinary technician experience with a strong background in veterinary critical care, anesthesia, laboratory diagnostics, and animal handling. Kennel experience along with knowledge of dog training and pet grooming is highly desirable. Familiarity with veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques is essential. Skilled in IV insertion, vascular access, radiology diagnostics, pet grooming, and emergency medicine procedures. Ability to operate veterinary medical equipment confidently while adhering to safety protocols. Excellent client communication skills paired with a proactive approach to pet care and emergency response situations. Certification or licensing as a veterinary technician is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
