We are looking for a flexible, hardworking, and outgoing person to join our team. We are looking for an individual that is a team player and is detail-oriented. Daily duties include but are not limited to small animal preventive medicine, surgical assisting, dental procedures, anesthesia monitoring, emergency treatment, laboratory, and radiology. The candidate will:
  • Use strong communication skills to obtain and record patient histories and educate clients.
  • Accurately record the client and patient information into the computer.
  • Dispense and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments prescribed by the veterinarian.
  • Assistance with examinations and surgical procedures.
  • Triage and assist in emergency care during and after business hours.
  • Provide nursing care for injured and ill patients.
  • Provide and monitor anesthesia for the anesthetic patient.
  • Perform dental prophylaxis.
  • Digital radiography.
  • Dental Digital radiography,
  • Assisting with ultrasound.
  • Utilize in-house IDEXX equipment.
  • Collect and run lab samples.
  • Prepare surgery packs.
  • Restrain patients using low-stress techniques.
  • Be a compassionate and self-motivated member of the team.
  • Help keep the area clean.
