$28.19 - $35.23 per hour Pima Medical Institute is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to serve as a Substitute Instructor on an as-needed basis at our El Paso campus. This is a flexible opportunity to share your hands-on expertise with the next generation of Veterinary Technicians while maintaining your current clinical career.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver engaging lectures and hands-on lab demonstrations aligned with the established curriculum. Monitor laboratory competencies and use standardized checklists to confirm student skill levels. Track student attendance and report as required. Support student success through encouragement and targeted intervention. Record grades and ensure the classroom and lab environment meets all safety standards.Minimum Requirements:
Associate degree from an AVMA CVTEA-accredited Veterinary Technician program. Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) status or other required Texas state designation. Minimum 3 years of practical, hands-on experience in the veterinary field. Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Compensation & Benefits:
