Veterinary Technician

All Heart Veterinary Center of Farmersville is seeking a Veterinary Technician, experience preferred. Must be self-motivated, able to work in a team environment, able to learn quickly on the job, and be reliable. Some responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to managing patient reminders and treatments in our practice management software, restraining animals for examinations and treatments, drawing blood, pulling vaccinations, setting catheters, assisting with various laboratory procedures, monitoring inventory, practicing facility cleaning and disinfection protocols, obtaining patient histories, answering phone calls, scheduling visits, collecting payments, and interacting with clients, other facilities, and pharmacies. Requirements:

Customer service experience (at least 1 year) Veterinary/ medical experience Computer Knowledge Must be able to lift 50lbs Kneeling, squatting, and standing for long periods of time

Preferred:

Veterinary Technician/ Assistant (at least 1 year preferred ezyVet and IDEXX software familiarity preferred

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent VCA or Vet Tech certification is preferred
