Kindred Animal Hospital is a privately-owned small animal clinic in Kyle, TX. We are approximately 20 miles south of Austin, TX! We are currently hiring for a part time Veterinary Technician. Veterinary technicians are responsible for obtaining patient histories, vital signs, drawing blood, preparing patients for surgery, running in-house bloodwork, obtaining radiographs, monitoring anesthesia, caring for hospitalized and boarding patients, and various cleaning duties. Previous veterinary experience preferred. The desired applicant will demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, a willingness to learn, time management skills, positive mental attitude, and ability to work well with a team.
