Beard Navasota Veterinary Clinic About Us Beard Navasota Veterinary Clinic is a fast-paced, team-oriented practice providing high-quality care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. We are a mixed practice with 6 doctor with one additional joining in July. We are proud to partner with Texas Tech University and Texas A&M University , working alongside 4th-year veterinary students—creating a strong learning environment for our team. Position Overview We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Veterinary Technician/Assistant. No experience? No problem — we will train you! You will need some previous cattle experience to work in large animal department. Small Animal Tech position only doesn't need previous experience. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in veterinary medicine. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with exams and treatments Help with surgical preparation and patient care Restrain animals safely and compassionately Administer medications (under supervision) Clean and maintain exam rooms and equipment Support front desk and client communication as needed Work as part of a fast-paced, team-focused environment Qualifications No experience required - training provided Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Positive attitude and team player Ability to multitask and stay organized Comfortable working with animals of all sizes Willing to do down time task Ability to lift 40+ lbs and be on your feet What We Offer On-the-job training and skill development Opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinarians and veterinary students Supportive, team-oriented environment Growth opportunities within the clinic Full time employee discounts.
