Job Description

Veterinary Technician (LVT Preferred) - Multiple Openings Veterinary Hospital of New Waverly is growing, and we are currently looking to add multiple Veterinary Technicians to our team. We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or a highly skilled and experienced veterinary technician who is confident, dependable, and passionate about patient care. LVT preferred, but we are open to the right candidate with strong hands-on experience and a great attitude. Because we are filling a couple of positions, we are open to candidates with different strengths. We would love to find technicians who are strong in the exam rooms and client communication, as well as those with experience or strong interest in surgery, emergency, critical care, and hospitalized cases. Whether you shine in client interaction, patient flow, drop-offs, surgery / anesthesia or more advanced technical care, we would love to hear from you. What We're Looking For Strong exam room and client communication skills Confident with drop-off appointments and helping keep workflow organized Able to support doctors efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with urgent cases, emergencies, and hospitalized patients Experienced surgical technician Experience or strong interest in emergency / critical care is a plus Dependable, team-oriented, and proactive Calm under pressure and able to think quickly in busy situations Ideal Skills & Experience Room technician / appointment flow management Client education and communication Triage and urgent case handling Monitoring and treating hospitalized patients Experience with emergency or critical patients is a strong plus Experience in surgical induction, assisting and patient care / discharge Strong technical skills and ability to work independently when needed Qualifications LVT preferred Experienced veterinary technicians are encouraged to apply Emergency, critical care, hospitalization, surgical or advanced GP experience is strongly preferred, but not required for all openings
Pay:
$16.00 - $23.00 per hour
