Job Description
Revive Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital is NOW OPEN and actively seeking highly skilled ICU and Emergency Veterinary Technicians to join our growing emergency and specialty team in Prosper, Texas . This position is designed for experienced technicians who thrive in high-acuity medicine, enjoy complex cases, and want to work at the top of their license in a specialist-led, privately owned hospital —without corporate micromanagement. www.revivevet.com Position Overview Advanced ICU & Surgical Technicians play a critical role in supporting emergency, critical care, anesthesia, and surgical services . These technicians are hands-on with advanced monitoring, anesthesia, ventilators, invasive procedures, and complex peri-operative care. Key Responsibilities ICU & Critical Care Advanced patient monitoring (ECG, invasive & non-invasive BP, SpO2, capnography, temperature) Ventilator management and advanced oxygen delivery systems Triage, stabilization, and emergency response (CPR, crash cart management) Management of critical patients including sepsis, trauma, respiratory failure, and post-op ICU care Central line, arterial line, urinary catheter placement, and blood sampling Fluid therapy, transfusion monitoring, and infusion pump management Surgery & Anesthesia Advanced anesthesia monitoring and support (including ventilators) Surgical preparation, sterile technique, and intra-operative assistance Post-operative recovery and pain management Assist with: o Soft tissue surgery o Orthopedic surgery o Minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy/arthroscopy) o Emergency and trauma surgery Equipment setup and maintenance (ForceTriad, vessel-sealing devices, anesthesia machines) Qualifications Highly experienced Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT preferred; VTS strongly encouraged) Strong ICU, anesthesia, and surgical technical skills Comfort managing high-acuity and critical patients Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, teamwork, and professionalism Commitment to exceptional patient care Compensation & Benefits
