Job Description

Jo Neighborhood Vet Care is a privately owned small animal practice looking for an experienced, full-time Veterinary Technician who takes pride in providing exceptional patient care and enjoys working as part of a supportive, professional team. We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, and genuinely enjoys helping pets and their families. If you're the type of person who jumps in to help, communicates well, and stays calm during busy days, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with examinations and procedures Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection Take digital radiographs Administer medications and treatments as directed Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventive care Maintain accurate medical records Help keep the hospital clean, organized, and running efficiently Qualifications Previous veterinary technician experience is required Strong animal handling and restraint skills Excellent communication and teamwork Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Able to lift and safely restrain animals weighing up to 50 pounds Our Team We believe a great workplace is built on respect, accountability, kindness, and teamwork. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
