Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics and treatment procedures to ensure efficient patient care. Perform laboratory tests, radiography, anesthesia monitoring and other diagnostic procedures with precision and attention to detail. Prepare animals for surgery, assist during procedures and provide post-operative care under veterinarian supervision. Educate pet owners about health management, medication administration and preventive care strategies to promote the patients health throughout their lifespan. Maintain accurate medical records Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained. Support the team by managing inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals. Embrace new techniques and protocols introduced within the practice to enhance service quality and efficiency. Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on delivering high-quality services in-house whenever possible. Skills Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or similar role in a veterinary setting. Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, diagnostics and treatment procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Adaptability to new practices and willingness to learn innovative approaches to veterinary medicine. Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in animal health and well-being. Certification or licensing is preferred but not mandatory.
