About Us Latah Creek Animal Hospital is a Fear Free Certified, AAHA-accredited small animal and exotic practice in Spokane, WA. The Role We're hiring an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join a collaborative, skilled team that takes both patient welfare and team wellbeing seriously.
Responsibilities include:
Fear-free patient handling and skilled nursing care Anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring IV catheter placement, sample collection, and in-house diagnostics Client communication and education Care for dogs, cats, and exotic species Requirements Active Washington State LVT license Minimum 2 years of clinical experience Fear Free certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong technical skills and a calm, regulated approach under pressure Compensation & Benefits $28-$32/hour DOE + monthly performance incentives Medical, dental, and long-term disability insurance 401(k) with company match Vacation and sick leave accrued from day one 4-day work week, no weekends, no extended hours Continuing education support Access to a Veterinary Social Worker Employee Assistance Program Bi-weekly team snack and grocery delivery To Apply Submit your resume through Indeed or email jessica@latahcreekah.com .
