Position Overview:
We're looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a team-oriented setting and understands the importance of building strong relationships with clients while delivering top-notch care to their pets.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians with patient care, including handling animals, preparing them for procedures, induction and intubation, dental prophylaxis, venipuncture, administering medications, radiography, anesthetic monitoring during procedures, and post-operative recovery. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and support to help them care for their pets. Support the team in administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records. Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
What We're Looking For:
A genuine love for animals and a desire to provide the best care possible. Strong teamwork skills with a collaborative mindset. Excellent communication skills, both with colleagues and clients. A proactive attitude, always ready to jump in and help where needed. Applicants must be able to provide proof of active veterinary technician license. Compensation is commensurate on experience.
