Job Description
A growing and reputable residential home services organization is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Supervisor to lead field operations, support technician development, and help drive exceptional customer service standards. The HVAC Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing field service quality, supporting service agreement growth, managing KPIs, and maintaining operational excellence. This role works closely with department leadership to identify improvement opportunities, coach technicians, and ensure efficient day-to-day field operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and a passion for team development. Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Medical, dental, and vision insurance options Supplemental insurance offerings 401(k) with company match Short- and long-term disability plans Employer-paid life insurance Paid holidays and paid time off Company vehicle Uniforms, equipment, and fully stocked service vehicle provided Employee referral bonus opportunities Key Responsibilities Coach, mentor, and develop technicians requiring performance or technical improvement Provide direct field support to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to company standards Conduct ride-alongs, site visits, and coaching sessions to improve service and sales performance Promote accountability, teamwork, and customer-focused culture during meetings and daily interactions Assist with budgeting, expense management, and achieving departmental performance goals Ensure staffing levels align with customer demand and seasonal fluctuations Hold technicians accountable to customer satisfaction and operational standards Assist in resolving customer concerns through site visits, communication, and oversight Train and supervise field personnel to improve safety, consistency, and workmanship quality Reinforce professional standards related to customer service, productivity, and profitability Ensure all additional work outside the original scope is properly communicated, approved, and documented Monitor job quality, callbacks, and warranty work while implementing corrective actions as needed Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards Communicate regularly with leadership regarding field performance and operational challenges Perform hands-on HVAC work and complete required reporting as needed Complete additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC experience Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience High school diploma or equivalent required Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork design, and modification Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment Proven ability to motivate and develop team members Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Equal Opportunity Employer The company is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
