MIG Welder - 2nd Shift

MIG welding role focused on welding, fit-up, equipment setup, and weld quality inspection in a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements 2+ years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to pass a 2G weld test upon hire Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders Experience with fit-up and weld preparation techniques Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in flat and horizontal positions Preferred Skills High school diploma or equivalent Experience welding metal components and assemblies to blueprint and layout specifications Experience setting up and adjusting welding equipment including wire feed speed, voltage, and gas flow Experience inspecting finished welds for quality, dimensions, and specification conformance Experience cleaning, degreasing, and preparing materials prior to welding Job Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies according to blueprints, work orders, and layout specifications Weld in flat and horizontal positions to required standards Inspect finished welds for quality, dimensions, and conformance to specifications Set up and adjust welding equipment including wire feed speed, voltage, and gas flow Prepare materials by cleaning, degreasing, and fitting parts prior to welding
