Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical maintenance, and field service operations. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, and related property maintenance tasks. The position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, including air conditioning, plumbing, boiler systems, and ammonia refrigeration. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. Candidates with construction experience, service technician background, and mechanical knowledge will thrive in this role. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics and HVAC design plans to ensure proper system installation and maintenance. Perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks across commercial and industrial properties. Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems and property maintenance needs. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues within HVAC/R systems. Assist with welding and mechanical repairs as needed for system integrity and safety. Maintain detailed documentation of service work performed using industry-standard procedures. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes. Operate specialized tools for equipment repair, including refrigeration components like ammonia refrigeration systems. Support field service operations by providing timely repairs to minimize downtime for clients. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with knowledge of HVAC/R systems. Strong mechanical knowledge including boiler operation, appliance repair, and property maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and refrigeration systems. Experience with plumbing, welding, equipment repair, and general maintenance tasks. (a plus) Ability to read technical diagrams and electrical schematics accurately. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver preferred. Additional skills such as construction experience, mechanic background, or property maintenance are advantageous. Knowledge of field service operations and appliance repair is beneficial. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments requiring physical activity such as lifting or working in confined spaces. Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
