Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings Prepare food items with proper food handling and sanitation practices, including scooping, topping, and serving ice cream and other desserts Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Manage cash handling responsibilities with attention to detail, ensuring correct change and transaction records Upsell additional products or upgrades to enhance the customer experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including cleaning utensils, counters, and seating areas (bussing) Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall kitchen operations in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as cashiering, serving, and food prep Experience Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
