Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings Prepare and serve ice cream cones, sundaes, floats, and other frozen treats with attention to presentation and quality Manage cash register transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and providing correct change Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and serving areas in compliance with food safety standards Upsell additional toppings or specialty items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Support food preparation tasks such as scooping, portioning, and restocking supplies to ensure smooth operations during busy hours Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that engages guests Experience with food preparation, serving in quick service or fast food restaurants preferred Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within the food industry Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly while ensuring quality service This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the food industry who thrive on delivering excellent customer experiences.
