Ice Cream Shop Manager

Operating Manager Job Summary Custard's Last Stand is seeking an Operating Manager to run and grow the business. This is not a traditional management role, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a single-location operation and lead it into a high-performing, growth-focused business. The right candidate will own day-to-day execution while building systems, developing a team, and driving revenue through operations, marketing, and customer engagement.

Full-time Schedule Requirement:

Evenings, weekends, and holidays required Compensation

Base Salary:

$55,000 - $70,000 annually (paid bi-weekly)

• Performance-based incentives tied to revenue and margins
• Total compensation increases based on business performance Schedule & Expectations
• Peak Season (Memorial Day-Labor Day): 50-60 hours/week

Off-Season:

~40 hours/week

• Hands-on, in-store leadership role Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily store operations, staffing, and scheduling
• Ensure the business runs smoothly 7 days per week
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency
• Recruit, hire, train, and lead team members
• Plan and execute promotions and marketing initiatives, such as in-store signage, community outreach and social media coordination
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
• Deliver a strong customer experience
• Lead, motivate and support staff to ensure excellent customer service
• Analyze sales trends and customer behaviors to adjust marketing and operational strategies Non-Negotiable Standards
