Job Description
Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who need dedicated support and care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide personalized assistance in clients' homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a vital part of a team committed to delivering high-quality, respectful, and empathetic care tailored to each person's unique needs. Your energy, attention to detail, and genuine kindness will help create a positive environment where clients feel valued and supported every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Administer medications accurately following care plans and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to safely transfer clients and prevent injury Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities Qualifications Prior experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is highly desirable Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs requiring medical attention Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; ongoing training opportunities available Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for resident transfers or mobility assistance Experience working with individuals with disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs is a plus Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude to build trusting relationships with clients and their families Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly enhances the quality of life for those you serve.
