Do you have a caring heart and want to help others? Seniors Helping Seniors Chagrin Valley is a growing home care agency seeking to add compassionate older adult caregivers to our team. We provide in-home care services to seniors that could use a helping hand with day-to-day tasks so that they can age gracefully where ever they call home. We pride ourselves on hiring active seniors as Caregivers for our clients- allowing for an organic connection for our caregivers and clients.

Chagrin Falls, Gates Mills, Highland Heights, Hunting Valley, Morland Hills, Novelty, Orange, Pepper Pike, Mayfield Heights, Shaker Heights, Solon, Aurora, Twinsburg, Warrensville Heights, Bedford We're looking for: A caring, empathetic, patient, and reliable person Someone with a positive attitude who wants to make a difference in someone's life Older adults who are looking for part time work; previous professional Caregiver experience not required Experience with dementia or willingness to complete dementia training to ensure maximum success with the client What you'll do: Go to client's homes to assist them and help them age gracefully Companionship- spend time with our senior clients to help brighten their day. During the course of time with our client, other tasks may be required, such as: Grocery shopping, cooking/meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry Other various tasks may arise during the course of time with a client, training provided if needed before you're asked to do something new. Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and getting dressed What you'll get: An opportunity to stay active while helping someone else Referral bonus if you bring in other caregivers or clients Paid mileage when transporting a client Access to paid training and ongoing education What you'll need: Ideal candidates are active, mature adults (50+) Possess a valid driver's license in the state of Ohio Have your own vehicle with state required insurance in place You must have reliable transportation to the Client's home Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 8 hours long, as needed to complete assigned tasks, including walking up and down stairs as needed. This is not an overly physical job, but caregivers will be helping those that may not be as physically able to execute daily tasks, so independent mobility is essential.
