FULL-TIME
Shipping Manager - Immediate Opening. Hourly position. 90 day probation period. Experience required. 3 or more years' experience in the horticulture industry Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Skilled in utilizing trucks and trailers including loading, unloading, navigation, and maintenance Promote innovation into shipping systems and procedures Manage 4-6 people in pulling & loading crew Possesses a friendly, professional personality, self-starter, and able to get information in a timely manner Highly efficient and organized.
Must be able to handle multiple inputs daily. Assist in final quality control of product prior to loading communicating concerns to inventory manager and sales manager. Responsible for coordinating information between external (customers) and internal (sales, production,) individuals. Manage and audit driver logs Ensure weekly / monthly, annual maintenance and cleanliness of company equipment Asst ownership with development and implementation of various delivery methods including but not limited to corrugate, pallet racking, and carts Manage and report H2A pulling / loading KPIs Organize BoL for all outbound orders Ensure cleanliness of shipping areas Assist with local material pickups and deliveries on an as needed basis Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management. reviewing, and implementing Standard Operational Procedures (SOP's).
