Independent Support Service Worker - Oxford County Catholic Charities $17.69 - $17.69 Hourly medical insurance, life insurance, 401(k), mileage reimbursement United States, Maine, South Paris May 10, 2026 Description Are you looking for flexible, meaningful work where you can make a difference every day? Catholic Charities Maine is hiring Independent Support Services Workers (ISSW1) to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes throughout Oxford County. We are specifically looking for employees to serve consumers who reside in: Paris, South Paris, and Norway. This position will be 20-29 hours per week.
What You'll Do:
Help clients remain independent in their homes Provide housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation Run errands (groceries, pharmacy, appointments) Transport clients using your personal vehicle Offer companionship and support with daily tasks Follow care plans and complete simple online documentationWhat We're Looking For:
Compassionate, dependable, and respectful individuals Comfortable working independently in clients' homes Strong boundaries and respect for confidentiality Basic computer skills Experience is a plus, but not required-we will train the right personPay & Benefits:
