Job Description

Industrial Electrician Mountain Top, PA 4 DAYS AGO 22536989 Summary Mountain Top, PA In-Person $35.00 - $40.00 per Hour 5 Years Experience Vocational/Technical Certificate Salary Plus Commission 48.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description About i2M i2M is an American-owned manufacturer of advanced polymer films, vertically integrated from compound to finished product. We run complex equipment, move fast, and expect a high level of execution from every i2Mer on the floor. This is a plant where the work is real, the standards are high, and the people who do the work are respected for the craft they bring to it. The Role This role is for a top-tier industrial electrician who wants to operate at a higher level and own real outcomes. You will be the person the plant calls when the problem is complex. You will diagnose and restore electrical and control system failures across our production equipment, troubleshoot at the PLC level, and own root-cause work that keeps issues from coming back. You will also drive preventive and predictive maintenance forward, lead system upgrades, and improve the reliability of the plant over time. This is a high-trust, high-ownership role. You are paid at a high level and expected to perform at one. You will be trusted to think, diagnose, act, and improve — and given the room to do it. What You'll Own Full responsibility for diagnosing and restoring electrical and control system failures across our production equipment Advanced troubleshooting of 3-phase systems (240V / 480V), motor controls, VFDs, and automation systems PLC-level troubleshooting to isolate and resolve faults Root-cause identification and elimination — not repeat fixes Execution and continuous improvement of preventive and predictive maintenance programs Electrical installation, upgrades, and system improvements including panels, conduit, wiring, and controls Real-time support during production events, with urgency and precision Clear documentation of failures, fixes, and system improvements Ongoing improvement of equipment reliability and uptime What Success Looks Like You are the person others rely on when the problem is complex Downtime drops because you fix issues at the root Equipment runs more consistently and predictably under your ownership You identify and address risks before they become failures The technical capability of the plant grows because of the work you put in
What You Bring Required:
5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Deep knowledge of 3-phase power systems (240V / 480V) Strong experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment Advanced understanding of motor controls, VFDs, and automation components Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and system diagrams Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and control issues Experience installing and modifying industrial electrical systems What sets strong candidates apart: You move fast when equipment is down and stay disciplined under pressure You take full ownership of problems and follow them through You fix systems permanently, not temporarily You are constantly sharpening your technical skillset You want to be part of an environment where results matter and ownership is real Work Environment and Safety This is a heavy industrial manufacturing plant with continuous production. The work is technical, fast-paced, and demanding. You are expected to follow all safety procedures, use proper PPE, and operate in a way that protects yourself and the people around you. Identifying and addressing unsafe conditions is part of the role, not separate from it. Overtime is available based on production demand. Why i2M This is a place for top-tier electricians who want real ownership of complex systems, real growth based on results, and real compensation tied to real performance. If you want to be challenged, trusted, and rewarded for what you actually deliver, this is the team. Benefits Quarterly bonus program Transportation program Subsidized childcare program PTO and paid holidays 401(k) with company match Medical coverage, with 100% of employee coverage paid by i2M for non-smokers On-site fitness facility i2M is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
