INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Century Container LLC is a leading manufacturer in the production of industrial pails and lids. We are seeking a positive, outgoing and energetic Maintenance Technician to join our team. Schedule is Monday thru Friday with rotating weekends for possible call outs, if needed, for immediate repairs. Salary is based on experience. JOB DUTIES

Electrical:

troubleshoot and read electrical prints

Hydraulics:

troubleshoot & debug hydraulic circuits, read machine schematics and repair

Pneumatics:

troubleshoot and debug pneumatic circuits, read machine schematics and repair

• Knowledge of Injection Molding machine general maintenance, troubleshooting, debug and repair as needed
• Execute lockout/tagout procedures as required on all Injection and related equipment
• Initiate, recommend or provide solutions to prevent the occurrence of any downtime that can be avoided using proper preventive, predictive or continuous improvement ideas
• Work with supervisors to determine root cause of equipment failures and implement a permanent solution
• Maintain plant facility and associated equipment
• Fork lift or man lift experience a plus but not require
• Own and maintain required basic set of tools needed to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of basic math skills Must demonstrate good judgment and decision-making ability Must possess interpersonal skills and be able to communicate on all levels Must have a valid driver's license Must have a basic ability for the following skills: welding, brazing, soldering, refrigeration repair. Machine shop training, fabrication in wood, metal, plastic, etc., electronic repair and plumbing.
