Long-Term | Temp-to-Hire After 520 Hours Position Overview The Industrial Painter
  • Labor Division role is responsible for preparing and painting industrial parts in an open-air shop environment. This Industrial Painter
  • Labor Division position requires experience with paint preparation, coating application, and reading client specifications to ensure quality finishes. The ideal Industrial Painter
  • Labor Division candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in outdoor and high-heat conditions.
Required Experience & Skills Experience preparing materials for industrial painting Ability to read and follow client specification sheets Knowledge of mixing paint, catalyst, and hardener correctly Experience operating a pot gun and painting equipment Ability to gauge coating thickness and identify defects Ability to correct runs, light spots, and finish inconsistencies Comfortable working in heat and open-air environments Reliable transportation required Ability to pass a 10-panel UA Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prep industrial parts and surfaces for paint application Apply industrial coatings according to customer specifications Mix paints and materials accurately for each project Operate pot guns and related painting equipment safely Measure and monitor coating thickness for quality assurance Correct paint defects including runs and uneven coverage Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Work Environment Open-air industrial shop environment Exposure to heat, paint fumes, coatings, and industrial materials Physically active role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion PPE required while working in production areas Additional Information Long-term assignment with strong potential for permanent hire Significant pay increase available after direct hire
