Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Sewing Machine Operator We are looking for a sew shop sewer who is a team player, is organized and who appreciates quality in the sewn products. At Ortho Dog, we are committed to providing quality orthopedic braces to assist in improved function, mobility, rehabilitation and quality of life for dogs around the globe. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Operate several different types of industrial sewing and cutting machines Ensure quality of each sewn product (quality control) Follow production schedule to meet daily goals Ability to teach staff how to operate equipment and sew components of each brace Prepping of all raw materials and components of each brace as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 1 year of professional sewing experience, preferably in industrial sewing or degree/training Keen eye for detail Desire and ability to learn and perfect new sewing skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Full dexterity and range of motion in hands and fingers Ability to lift 50 lbs with help Comfortable sitting or standing for extended periods of time Excellent hand/eye coordination Contact operations@orthodog.com

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
