We are a growing, motivated company located in St. Francisville, LA. This job position will be based at our storage facility in Baker, LA . Job Summary We are looking for an Industrial Storage Technician to help manage and organize industrial motors and equipment in our storage facility. This role involves handling inventory, moving and storing equipment safely, keeping the warehouse organized, and working with different departments to make sure customer equipment is ready when needed. This is a hands-on position that requires forklift and crane operation, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Organize, store, and move industrial motors and equipment safely and efficiently. Load, unload, and stage equipment for incoming and outgoing jobs. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely. Track inventory and update job progress in the ERP system. Work with operations, sales, and logistics teams to support customer needs. Perform basic maintenance and report equipment or facility issues when needed. Keep the warehouse, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized. Help support customer audits and maintain a professional storage facility. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Participate in safety and quality programs. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, industrial, shop, or storage experience preferred. Strong technical skills in mechanical and electrical systems. Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes. Rigging and heavy equipment handling experience. Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory or tracking systems. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and ability to work well with others. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) as needed. Ability to stand and work for long periods in hot, cold, and industrial environments. Comfortable working around noise, dust, and heavy equipment.
