Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE
At NSCC, we are always seeking a pool of qualified instructors to teach part-time, in-person and/or hybrid/online, college-level courses in the following areas within the
Industrial Technologies Division:
HVAC-R, Industrial Technology, and Welding. Interested candidates must submit an online employment application, resume/curriculum vitae, and unofficial transcripts to be considered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
These positions are responsible for instructing, supervising, and evaluating student progress in the classroom. Part-time instructors will also work closely with the full-time faculty and the dean in their leadership, development, assessment, and evaluation of curriculum.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS HVAC-R
  • The qualified applicant must have an Associate's degree in industrial technology, engineering technology, or related discipline or a combination of relevant education, experience and training totaling a minimum of 5 years. The EPA 608 certification is preferred at time of hire or must have the ability to obtain once hired. Industrial Technology
  • The qualified applicant must have an Associate's degree in engineering, engineering technology, industrial technology or related discipline or a combination of relevant education, experience and training totaling a minimum of 5 years. Welding
  • The qualified applicant must have an Associate's degree in Welding Technology, Industrial technology or related discipline or a combination of relevant education, experience and training totaling a minimum of 5 years.
