Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants, supporting their developmental milestones, and fostering a love of learning from an early age. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, classroom management, and caregiving skills to ensure each child's individual needs are met with patience and professionalism. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones Collaborate with parents and team members to support each child's unique needs and routines Follow all licensing regulations and center policies regarding infant care and safety Assist with daily routines such as nap times, playtimes, and transitions between activities Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing individualized plans under supervision Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Childcare certification or early childhood education background preferred First aid certification is highly desirable Strong classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and engagement Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs Excellent caregiving skills with patience, compassion, and attentiveness Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for infants Ability to communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members Knowledge of preschool activities, toddler care, nannying, babysitting, and general caregiving practices This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children during their formative years while working in a supportive team environment dedicated to early childhood education.
