Ingredient Receiving Specialist

Flex Spending and Dependent Care Assistance Plan also available. Ingredient Receiving Specialist Reicks View Farms is seeking an Ingredient Receiving Specialist to join our team. As the Ingredient Receiving Specialist your primary role will be to provide scale coverage and assist with miscellaneous clerical work.

Primary Objectives:

Weigh and grade in-bound grain using both the computer and the grain probe to measure grain Enter customer information into the computer system Issue scale tickets to customers Sample grain to determine grade, moisture level, foreign matter, and damage, and record in the computer system Properly dispose of all grade samples by placing them in the proper container Provide a high level of customer service by addressing drivers in a prompt, efficient, and courteous manner Receive mill ingredient inventory and lot number into the computer program Utilizing the electronic filing system to scan documents Create UPS shipping labels and apply accurate postage to packages Perform other tasks as assigned

Job Qualifications:

2 - 4 year degree is preferred but not required Be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, Laserfiche, Feed Order Pro and Metafarm programs Capable of repeated actions Ability to work some nights and weekends for scale coverage Be able to lift greater than 50 lbs on an occasional basis Highly accountable, detail-oriented, and a team player Ability to compile and analyze data and present to all levels of understanding Ability to multitask and prioritize Excellent math skills Knowledge of nutrient classification, ingredients, and their use in nutrition Basic concept of feed formulation Innovative and problem-solving Able to communicate orally and in writing with other employees and company contacts Retain and perform written and spoken instructions Telephone skills, verbal communication, listening, professionalism, customer focus, organization, informing others, handling pressure, supply management Reicks View Farms has a generous employee benefits package that includes health, dental, life and disability insurance, a flexible spending account (FSA) for medical and dependent care expenses, 401k with company match, paid time off and paid holidays.
