Installer/Service Technician/Truck Upfitter

TRUCK EQUIPMENT INSTALLER / SERVICE POSITIONS

$18 AND UP If you enjoy working on cars or are just really mechanically inclined and would be confident installing and servicing various types of truck bodies, liftgates, winches and other parts onto brand new chassis cabs and pickup trucks this may be your chance to earn money doing something you actually like. Pay is $18 per hour and up depending on previous experience and knowledge. Overtime is possible. Working 40 to 50 hours a week is not unusual. If you're ready to step out and work at a family-owned business where you're valued and treated with respect this may be the home for you! Openings are from 6 am-2:30 p.m. with possible overtime. Monday-Friday is normal working schedule, Saturdays are possible but not often scheduled.

Requirements:

Shop has some Tools and Equipment, but you must supply your some of your own tools. Ability to install aftermarket accessories for fleet and commercial vehicles Ability to maintain top quality standards with a strong mechanical aptitude Must be self-motivated & ability to work well with others Time management-managing one's own time and time of others Maintain safety of all the facility by following safety standards Ability to safely operate a variety of tools Installation of electrical components in/on trucks. Places large truck equipment components in place as specified. Reads computer job orders, and job specifications and lays out plans for work procedures. Operates shop machines. Performs function tests when finished. Forklift experience is helpful, will train if necessary.

Bonus Skills:

Previous truck equipment installation experience Welding and fabrication Trouble shooting and testing of electrical components. Trouble shooting and testing of hydraulics systems

Job Type:
