WORK WEEK/YEAR

As per board-adopted calendar, employment on an as needed basis. Instruction occurs during evening hours. Occasional limited weekend or special event/program hours may be scheduled.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Current state-issued Cosmetology Instructor License required prior to employment Minimum five (5) years of recent industry experience in cosmetology or salon operations BCI and FBI criminal records results less than one-year old must be submitted prior to initial employment and as required thereafter.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to work independently while effectively managing classroom and salon clinic environments Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with adult learners possessing a wide range of educational, professional, and life experiences Availability for evening instruction, with flexibility to support occasional special programming or events as needed Experience with a wide range of hair textures, styling techniques, and client service needs is valued Passion for continued learning, professional growth, and contributing positively to program development, community relationships, and a collaborative team environment Job Description
