Responsibilities Identify and analyze claim follow-ups and billing issues that impede reimbursement Maintain detailed records of all communications, claim statuses, and actions taken within the company's tracking systems Identify recurring denial and underpayment trends, troubleshoot root causes, and recommend process improvements to prevent future occurrences Verify claim documentation completeness and accuracy before submission or further processing Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for insurance claims and updates Respond promptly to inquiries from policyholders and insurance providers, providing clear updates on claim progress Identify and escalate any issues or delays in the claims process to appropriate management for resolution Assist in preparing reports on follow-up activities, outstanding claims, and resolution timelines to support continuous improvement efforts Skills EHR experience required - Oracle Health (Cerner Patient Accounting) is highly desired Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with insurance providers and clients Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on timely issue resolution Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy in documentation and data entry Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and insurance management systems Ability to work independently while maintaining a proactive attitude towards follow-up tasks Knowledge of insurance claim procedures and terminology This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a team that values efficiency, transparency, and excellent service.
