Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - IR Job Type Contract Step into a specialized nursing role focused on interventional radiology and contribute your expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity provides the chance to work alongside dedicated professionals, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; shifts and length discussed during the interview process
Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license Previous experience in Interventional Radiology or similar procedural nursing preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Strong IV skills and experience with moderate sedation administration Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care during interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, identifying and responding quickly to any changes in condition Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies according to established protocols Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures, including sterile technique maintenance Document all relevant nursing activities accurately and in real time Educate patients and families on procedures, expectations, and aftercare Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to maintain high standards of care
