Inventory Clerk

Job Summary Under the direction of the Inventory Manager, this position assists in the coordination of the daily activities of the Inventory dept. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, fast learner and is highly motivated. This is a temp to permanent position for someone to work Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with some occasional overtime. Must be able to pass a drug test, background check and able to work with a local staffing agency during your probationary period. Candidates must also have strong attention to detail as they will be responsible following specific work instructions: Shipping and Receiving product Cycle counting Pulling all necessary product for Production job kits Assist all inventory personnel and non-inventory personnel Responsibilities and Duties Works in conjunction with the entire team of Hi-Tech personnel in the quality and inventory control of products as directed by the Manager/supervisor Answering phone calls and request from non-inventory personnel Ensures that all parts/items are received and documented according to the work instructions Builds kits for shop orders and/or package according to production releases, completing necessary paperwork following documented work instruction Ensures accuracy, quality and timely completion of jobs Performs follow up on incomplete and partial job kits Cycle counting Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written Other duties may be assigned Qualifications and Required Skills High School graduate or GED Experience preferred but will train the right person Self-starter must be able to work independently and with limited supervision Ability to do repetitive operations Ability to work with small parts and materials Ability to follow work instructions Organized and detailed oriented Must be a team player Able to stand or sit for extended periods of time Dependable and responsible Computer skills required
