BUSSER/EXPEDITOR

- Seasonal Part-Time

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for cleaning areas in the restaurant/bar and delivering food in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Clear guest tables quickly, efficiently and quietly while guests are present. Enhance safety and hygiene of the restaurant by keeping tables, chairs and floor clean and free of crumbs and debris. Reset tables promptly and in accordance with company procedure, to ensure a continuous flow of satisfied guests through the restaurant. Greet guests and ensure their needs are met. Ensure prompt delivery of food orders to guests at the appropriate temperature. Communicate in a timely and efficient manner with Servers and Hosts regarding guest needs and table availability. Assist Servers as needed to provide exceptional guest service. Clean and polish silverware, glassware, and cups. Ensure that supplies are stocked and that the wait stand is neat and orderly. Understand Company ISO (Environmental and Quality) management systems, Health and Safety standards, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas. Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Excellent customer service and communication skills Demonstrated good organization and time management skills Ability to take direction and change tasks quickly Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Restaurant experience preferred Food Handler certification
