Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting advanced patient care with your expertise as an Interventional Radiology Technologist. This contract opportunity leverages your imaging skills to assist in diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT (VI) or (IR) preferred Current state licensure as required Minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Radiology or related imaging field Demonstrated proficiency in angiography, vascular, and non-vascular procedures Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other staff Knowledge of all safety protocols and sterile technique Strong communication skills and a patient-focused mindset BLS certification (must be current)
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging equipment for IR procedures Support physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions Position and monitor patients for safe, accurate imaging Perform pre- and post-procedure patient assessments Document procedures accurately in patient records and hospital systems Maintain a sterile procedural environment and adhere strictly to safety guidelines Continuously monitor imaging equipment for proper functioning Stay up-to-date with continuing education and regulatory requirements
